First Nations leaders were at the Battlefords Indian and Metis Friendship Centre on Tuesday to make a donation in time for the Christmas season.

The Unity/Macklin RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in helping solve a theft of fuel that recently occurred in Macklin. On Friday, Dec. 2 at around 4:15 a.m.

The big unknown during North Battleford’s recent budget deliberations is what the future holds for the City’s share of the RCMP contract.

Much uncertainty remained about the 2017 operations and capital budget that is headed to council next Monday.
