It was a busy night for the North Battleford RCMP as they received more than 45 calls for service between 6 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9 and 6 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 10.

Streets will start being barricaded at 5:30 p.m. for the 127th Northwest Territorial Days Parade tonight. The public is asked to not move barricades, as it is a ticketable offense and to obey all traffic and parking bylaws during this time.

Two-thirds of sanctions for impaired driving

The North Battleford RCMP received less than 40 calls for service between 6 a.m. Friday, Aug. 8 and 6 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9.

More than 30 calls for service were made to the North Battleford RCMP between 6 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 7 and 6 a.m. Friday, Aug. 8.

The sod has been turned for a new 24-unit seniors rental apartment development in Battleford. The apartments are being built by BridgeRoad Developments, Inc., who have built 22 other projects in Saskatchewan and Manitoba. The $7.
