EAST CENTRAL — The North East School Division (NESD) is removing online classrooms from the division for the 2021-22 school year, requiring all students to attend in person unless actively sick or enrolled in a homeschool program.

LANIGAN — COVID-19 diagnoses have been made at Lanigan Elementary School. The Horizon School Division said they were informed of the diagnoses May 20.

The Government of Saskatchewan announced a plan to further ease visitor restrictions in long-term care and personal care homes in alignment with the three steps of the Re-opening Roadmap.

The Saskatoon Police Service is aware of two anti-mask rallies planned this weekend in the city. Operational plans will be in place including uniformed officers and traffic members.

A walk-in vaccination clinic will be opening up in Lanigan tomorrow for those eligible. The Lanigan clinic will be at the town hall on Friday, May 21 from 9:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.

RCMP charged five people after they were called twice on the same day to a residence in Nipawin. RCMP say they were first called to the home on the 100 block of Seymour Street at 3:50 a.m. on May 18 for a complaint of an assault.
