MELFORT — While driving into Melfort from the north, community members will see a new sign – a metal model of a grain elevator welcoming them into the city.

The city of North Battleford have announced that they have put up two new speed signs on Territorial Drive. The signs are funded by the Saskatchewan Government Insurance Provincial Traffic Safety Fund Grant Program.

The City of North Battleford is informing residents of a street closure today between West Railway Avenue and Highway 4 South today. The street will be partially closed with intermittent access throughout the day.

Further incentives, like a lottery, are not being considered to encourage Saskatchewan residents to get a vaccine.

Mother hopes to form support group for parents in similar situation

On June 8, 2021 at approximately 6:10 a.m., Spiritwood RCMP received a complaint of a missing 59-year-old male. The male and a family member were boating on Little Shell Lake the evening of June 7 when their boat overturned.
