The regular season is almost over, and they're not letting up on the gas. The Humboldt Broncos scored two more wins at home this week, one over one of the strongest teams in the league this season.

North Stars, coaches and fans alike have been waiting for this to happen since the calendar turned to 2011, but perhaps two players, Blake Tatchell and Colin Phaneuf are the happiest to have shaken their slumps.

After the regular season had each team scheduled to play each other six times, the playoffs appear now to be bring out the intensity in the teams.

It is a stat no team wants - the Battlefords Sharks finished their third straight regular season with the least amount of points in the Saskatchewan Female Midget AAA Hockey League.

The Battlefords Midget Stars have one game remaining in the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League season and unfortunately they aren't carrying much momentum into the game.

The Battlefords AAA Sharks have one game remaining in the regular season, an exhibition game and then playoffs, but that didn't stop them from celebrating as team Sunday at their annual year end awards banquet.
