The Battlefords North Stars are sending another player south. It is more like returning another player to the United States since Grant Fahnhorst played the majority of his hockey in rinks in the United States after being raised in Lakeville, Minn.

Battlefords North Stars' fans, and anyone who follows the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League for that matter, will recognize the name Mike George.

Approximately 200 people piled into the Watson Civic Centre on June 12 for the community's Sports Dinner and Auction, to listen to sports celebrities, eat a good meal, and help a good cause.
