A definite advantage of this pandemic situation is the number of ways in which we are learning more and more about unity; I know there are riots and protests but I’m talking about our town and, in particular, our local neighbourhood.

Jesus said: “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” (John 10:10) The story is told about two people who wanted a single orange.

The mushrooms that seem to magically appear almost overnight in our lawns are the fruiting bodies of a fungus. Fungi cannot manufacture their own food and must obtain it from an external source.
