Nobody wants unearned inequality between older and younger Canadians. I don't. My mom doesn't. Nor does my grandmother. Problem is, this inequality is on the rise.

It's a situation no one wants to be in, but sooner or later most of us are at the mercy of the health care system in a hospital. It's a place we go for help and reassurance.

Dear Editor On Page 1 of the Sept. 18 Regional Optimist there was an item informing readers that the Battlefords Horticultural Society will be closed down after 68 years.

Not many websites are as polarizing as Reddit.

Instead of prohibiting hydraulic fracturing in Nova Scotia, we should develop and pursue in a socially and environmentally responsible manner the economic opportunities that fracking affords.
