My bouquet is to our locally owned and operated Dairy Queen store. I am impressed by the good "old fashioned" service there. I am a retired social worker and I do frequent DQ.

Canadian shoppers are idiots. Recently I had the chance to peruse the Weyburn City Centre Mall. I had visited the Smitty's there before, but never had actually seen the rest of the facility. I was amazed at how empty it was.

Dear Editor I have now attended two marches with Idle No More and have been extremely impressed as to the peaceful nature of the movement. There is a gentle dedication in INM that recognizes the inherent good that is in most people.

The government reckoned it's time to hang the PFRA pastures. It's an ideological thing. We'll throw it over to Saskatchewan - let those cowboys swing. Now the Saskatchewan Party's got a hot potato, it's a political fiasco.

As the holiday season concludes, it is usually a time when we look back and re-evaluate our priorities. Typically over the holidays, we remember family members and friends, and spend time with them. But come Jan.
