For as long as I can remember, I've been intrigued, annoyed, confused, exhilarated, enraged - any or all of the above - by politics.

Dear Editor, November 11, 2011 (11/11/11) marks the anniversary of the end of the First World War, and is a day for Canadians to honour and remember those who fought for their country and for those who continue to serve.

I am a to-do list person. Every day I have a list of tasks prepared for that day. For a long time I thought there was something wrong with me.

In our house we have one man who has been sporting a moustache for decades and one who randomly runs an electric razor over his upper lip every few weeks just to make sure he doesn't grow one in.

Dear Editor As we approach Remembrance Day a step forward for those who served and survived has been taken.

On the night of Nov. 1, there was a horrific fire at Delorme Beach in Battlefords Provincial Park. This fire destroyed two cabins and caused major damage to a third.

When the first snow of the season fell Sunday, the kids joyfully jumped into their ski pants and boots and headed outside. They were so happy to play in the snow, they shovelled both the driveway and the deck, without prompting.
