There are times when I'm flooded with memories. They can be triggered by a sight, sound, smell or taste. In this busy season my schedule is full and my senses are overloaded.

Dear Editor I would like to send a bouquet to the volunteers at the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Our family took a "Walk Through Bethlehem" last weekend. It was an enjoyable, interactiveactivity for people of all ages.

North America may have gone through a bad recession, but Saskatchewan is doing just fine, thanks. Right now the oil and gas industry is firing on all cylinders. In December, we saw a record petroleum rights land sale for that month.

Although this year's IIHF World Junior Championship is across the continent and in Buffalo instead of a short drive to Saskatoon, the interest and excitement is once again starting to build, as Team Canada puts its hopefuls through the paces this wee

Last week I attended our granddaughter's annual choir concert. Though jazz never has been my favourite musical style, the harmonies and instrumentations that came from the hands and mouths of those teens were jaw-dropping.

Whether it be art, music or sports, we all prioritize and attach a sentimental value to what is most alluring to the things that we have a passion for.

I would like to send out a huge bouquet to the Livelong and District Recreation Association board for their hard work in preparing the Christmas Gala Supper.

We have just enough snow to make the world sparkly, carols are playing wherever I go and the community is filled with Christmas decorations. It's finally December so I'm okay with it now. December is Christmas for me.
