PRINCE ALBERT — Prince Albert RCMP are asking the public for information about a fire that was set at a provincial firefighting base north of the city.
On June 5 at approximately 3 p.m., Prince Albert RCMP received a report of suspicious fire, believed to be the result of an arson attempt. Investigation determined an individual had poured an accelerant on a pile of wood on the property and started a fire.
The individual fled the area on a bicycle and the fire was extinguished with no injuries or major damage reported.
