PRINCE ALBERT NATIONAL PARK — After first issuing a wildfire emergency alert on July 13, Parks Canada has re-issued its alert for Prince Albert National Park for a third time Saturday.
Due to the Buhl wildfire that has potential to cause emergency situations for the public, including deteriorating air quality and or visibility due to wildfire smoke, residents and visitors to Prince Albert National Park are instructed to prepare and be ready to evacuate if required. Vulnerable individuals may choose to leave now or consider not travelling to the area.
SaskAlert indicates the wildfire is currently 30.7 km from the townsite of Waskesiu.
