P.A. police renew request for help finding man missing 38 years

PRINCE ALBERT — The Prince Albert Police Service Historical Crimes Unit is renewing its request for public assistance in the disappearance of Samuel LaChance.

July 29, 2025, marks 38 years since Samuel LaChance was last seen on July 29, 1987 in a local beverage room in Prince Albert. It is not known what Samuel was wearing at the time of his disappearance.

Samuel is described as male, 6’0 tall, and approximately 200 pounds. He was from the Big River area and often travelled between there and Prince Albert.
