Police ask for public's help following shooting in Prince Albert

On May 31, police were dispatched to the 700 block of 15th Avenue East to assist Parkland Ambulance with a male reported to have a gunshot wound.

PRINCE ALBERT - The Prince Albert Police Service is investigating following a shooting Saturday afternoon.

At approximately 5 p.m. on May 31, police were dispatched to the 700 block of 15th Avenue East to assist Parkland Ambulance with a male reported to have a gunshot wound.

Arriving officers were able to locate the adult male victim along 15th Avenue East and McIntosh Drive.

He was found to have non-life threatening injuries consistent with a gunshot and transported to hospital by paramedics.

The investigation led police to the unit block of Bowerman Crescent where the shooting was believed to have occurred a short time prior.

The suspects had fled the area prior to police arrival and no arrests have been made.

Police are continuing to investigate this shooting.
