PRINCE ALBERT - A woman was arrested Monday afternoon following an incident where a scooter was reportedly stolen from a child.
On June 2 at approximately 12:50 p.m., police were called to the 1000 block of 15th Street West for a report of a robbery.
Initial information was that a female had a knife and stole a scooter from a child.
Upon arrival, officers located the 10-year-old victim accompanied by their father with the scooter they had recovered.
Officers then observed a female matching the suspect description; the suspect discarded a knife from her person before being arrested by police.
As a result, the 25-year-old woman has been charged with robbery and carrying a concealed weapon.
