On Saturday, July 12, 2025, Josephine Marie Jimmy passed away at the age of 80 years in the South Terrace Continuing Care Centre, Edmonton, Alberta.
Josephine is forever loved and remembered by her Companion Larry Larochelle; Children Ernie (Sandra D) Jimmy, Charlene (Ted) Noon, and Marcus (Victoria) Jimmy; Grandchildren Marianne Stange, Miranda Moosewah, Joseph Baptiste, Jackson Jimmy, Raven Jimmy, Bluejay Jimmy, Tyson Nicotine, Kurtland Nicotine, Kashtin Nicotine, Kendrick Nicotine, Coen Jimmy, Colin Potts, Christian Potts, Marcus Jr. Potts, Shawn Potts, Ethan Jimmy, Braelyn Potts, and Ocean Potts; Numerous great grandchildren; Siblings Patricia Letandre, Burton Jimmy (Annette Bone), Harriette Kaushik, Gilbert Jimmy (Beatrice Yellowbird), Leona Jimmy (Charles Ryder), Esther (Travis) Wright, Gabriel Chatsis; Aunt Gladys Greyeyes-Wapass; Numerous nieces, nephews and extended family
Josephine is predeceased by Son Arlie Jimmy; Grandson Joelle Nicotine; Parents Vital and Katherine Jimmy; Sisters Maryanne Kaye and Bernice Thunderchild; Brothers George Jimmy and Wallace Jimmy; Nephew Jeremy Jimmy.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at the Thunderchild Health Centre, TCFN, SK.
