Edward and Jean married on July 30, 1958, and soon to follow were six children whom they raised in Luseland, SK. He was a dedicated and hardworking husband and father who loved his wife and family immensely. He was a man of faith and prayer and dedicated to the Catholic Church throughout his lifetime.

While in Luseland, Edward was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Elks and was involved in many of the events organized in the community. He also liked to curl and volunteer at the rink.

In the early 1980s, Edward and Jean built a cabin at Turtle Lake, SK. It was a very special place where many fond memories were made while vacationing with their children and grandchildren.

Besides his loving wife, Edward is survived by: Glenna Kolback (daughter), Paul Vaillancourt (son-in-law), Luke Uren (grandson), Kaylen Jolly (granddaughter-in-law), Keith Uren (great-grandson), Navy Uren (great-granddaughter), Claire Mayer (granddaughter), Tom Mayer (grandson-in-law); Brenda Blain (daughter), Dennis Blain (son-in-law), Landon McVeigh (grandson), Sara MacAulay (granddaughter-in-law), James Landon McVeigh (great-grandson), Shane McVeigh (grandson), Erin Blain (granddaughter), Ryan Lesperance (Blain) (grandson); Murray Kolback (son); Noreen Kolback (daughter); Debbie Macphee (daughter), Peter MacDonald (son-in-law), Samantha Miller (granddaughter), Colby Miller (grandson-in-law), Liam Macphee (grandson); Brian Kolback (son), Jayne Holden (daughter-in-law), Anita King (granddaughter), Nicolai King (grandson-in-law), Hilary Kolback (granddaughter), Zander Kolback (grandson); Joan Kloster (sister-in-law).
