REGINA - Ryan Knutson had a very exciting day in mid-May. The Regina local discovered his Lotto 6/49 ticket won $100,000 on the May 10 Extra draw.

“I checked my ticket on the Lotto Spot app,” he said. “I saw it was a winner, and I wanted to confirm it. So, at lunch time I took it to a nearby store and scanned it on a self-scanner as well.”

“I think a lot of people dream of winning, but never did I ever think I would win!”

The winner said he is going to take some time to decide what to do with his windfall, stating: “I haven’t really thought it all through. I’ve tried not to, if I’m honest.”

“I’ll pay some bills and then I’ll have to think about what to do with the rest,” he said.

Knutson purchased his winning Lotto 6/49 and Extra ticket from the 7-Eleven Store located at 1106 Devonshire Dr. N in Regina. He won his prize by matching the last six digits of the Extra number drawn on May 10 – 2511629. His ticket also won a Lotto 6/49 Free Play.
