City of Regina puts out water advisory

Residents may see a yellow/brown tinge in their water; however, the water remains safe to drink.

The City of Regina has put out a water advisory as it has turned on emergency backup water wells.

REGINA — The City of Regina has put out a water advisory.

A planned shutdown is currently taking place at the Buffalo Pound Water Treatment Plant (BPWTP), as the facility is undergoing maintenance.

Since the BPWTP is currently shut down, the city has turned on its emergency backup water wells.

Residents may see a yellow/brown tinge in the water; however, the water remains safe to drink.
