Deceased male discovered in Regina home now deemed a homicide

The RPS confirmed in a news release that a death investigation has now turned into a homicide investigation.

On Monday at approximately 8:00 p.m., officers were called to 3004 4th Avenue, where they located a deceased male.

REGINA  — The Regina Police Service (RPS) has deemed the death of a person in Regina a homicide.

On Monday at approximately 8:00 p.m., officers were called to 3004 4th Avenue, where they located a deceased male.

The area was secured, and additional resources of the RPS Major Crimes Unit, the RPS Forensic Identification Unit and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service were brought in.

The RPS has also confirmed the identity of the victim, 53-year-old Brando Peji. 

The investigation remains ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to contact the Regina Police Service at 306-777-6500 or Regina Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
