REGINA — The Saskatchewan Roughriders are back in action at Mosaic Stadium tonight, and with them come familiar traffic restrictions around the area.
Kickoff against the Calgary Stampeders is set for 7 p.m., and the Regina Police Service says game-day road closures will begin at 4 p.m., three hours prior to the game.
The 1500, 1600, and 1700 blocks of Elphinstone Street will be closed to vehicle traffic, with access limited to Regina Transit buses and local residents only. Proof of residency, such as ID or mail, may be required.
Additional road closures include:
- 1500 block of Elphinstone Street at Dewdney Avenue
- Princess Street and 9th Avenue
- Argyle Street and 9th Avenue
- McTavish Street and 9th Avenue
- Elphinstone Street and 9th Avenue
- Montague Street and 9th Avenue
- Montague Street and 10th Avenue
- Elphinstone Street and 10th Avenue
- Elphinstone Street and North Railway Street
- Saskatchewan Drive and Elphinstone Street
Police officers will be stationed in and around the stadium. Anyone needing assistance or reporting a safety concern can speak with an officer or call 911 in an emergency.
The Regina Police Service urges drivers and pedestrians to follow directions, remain patient, and be courteous during the event.
