BALGONIE — White Butte RCMP were on the scene of a serious collision late Monday night that closed Highway 10 about 20 kilometres from Balgonie.
The crash was reported on July 1, with RCMP sharing details shortly after 12:40 a.m. Tuesday. Officers confirmed the highway was closed for an undetermined period while emergency personnel responded.
No additional information about the collision or possible injuries was released, as the investigation was in its early stages.
Detours were put in place, and motorists were advised to expect delays in the area, slow down, and follow instructions from emergency crews.
Drivers were encouraged to check the Highway Hotline for ongoing road closure updates.
As of 7:40 a.m., the Highway Hotline website did not show any road closures in the Balgonie area.
