Regina's Urgent Care Centre temporarily reducing hours

The UCC will have reduced hours on Friday, July 11, and Saturday, July 12, while being fully closed on Sunday, July 13.

REGINA — The Regina Urgent Care Centre (UCC) will once again temporarily reduce its hours.

Per a media release, the UCC will be open on Friday, July 11, from  8 a.m. to 4 p.m. On Saturday, July 12, the centre will be open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

As for Sunday, July 13, the UCC will be closed all day.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) said these reduced hours are to accommodate physician availability.

The centre will return to its normal hours of 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Monday, July 14.

Anyone requiring urgent care outside of the UCC’s hours is encouraged to call 9-1-1 or proceed to the nearest hospital emergency department at:

  • Regina General Hospital - 1440 14th Avenue, Regina; or
  • Pasqua Hospital - 4101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina.

Any non-emergency medical care can be found by:

  • Calling HealthLine 8-1-1 for professional physical and mental health advice 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Visiting a walk-in clinic. Check your local clinic hours as holiday schedules may vary.
  • Connecting with a pharmacist. Some pharmacies may be open and can assist with minor health concerns.
