REGINA — With Saskatchewan Day coming up, here is what will be opened and closed on Aug. 4.
City of Regina facilities schedule for Monday, Aug. 4:
- Civic Offices: Closed.
- Landfill: Open 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Entry gates close at 5:15 p.m.
- Waste Collection (Garbage, Recycling, Food & Yard): Will be picked up as per usual schedule.
- Centre and RIDELine: closed.
- Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery and Regina Cemetery: Office closed. Gates open 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- North West Leisure Centre: Closed due to maintenance.
- Sandra Schmirler Leisure Centre: Open from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- Sportplex - Fieldhouse & Lawson Aquatic Centre: Open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Buffalo Meadows Outdoor Pool: 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Maple Leaf Outdoor Pool: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Massey Outdoor Pool: 12 to 8 p.m.
- Regent Outdoor Pool: 12 to 8 p.m.
- Wascana Outdoor Pool: 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Transit:
Regina Transit will be using Sunday routes and schedule. Meanwhile, paratransit services will operate on a holiday schedule from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
All meters in the city will not be in effect on Monday
Regina Public Library (RPL):
All RPLs will be closed on Aug 3. And Aug. 4.
The libraries will re-open for normal hours on Aug. 5.
Attractions:
The Saskatchewan Science Centre; open from 12 p.m. 6 p.m. on Aug. 4.
The Saskatchewan Royal Museum: operating under normal hours from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Aug 4.
The Cornwall Centre: open from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Aug. 4.
The Saskatchewan Legislature Building: offering tours from normal hours between 9:00 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Aug 4.
The Government House: open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Aug 4.
The RCMP Heritage Centre: operating its summer hours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Aug. 4.
The Mackenzie Art Gallery: closed on Mondays.
