SASKATOON - Police are investigating following a robbery Thursday night featuring another discharge of bear spray.
Shortly before 10 p.m. on July 24, police were called to a business in the 700 block of 20th Street West for a report of an assault-in-progress. The suspects had fled prior to police arrival, but officers were able to determine that four males had entered the business and engaged in a verbal altercation with the employee.
Police say it escalated to a physical altercation, with the suspects discharging bear spray, and stealing merchandise belonging to the business before fleeing. The victim was not seriously injured.
The suspects were not located but police are continuing to investigate.
