Update: Severe thunderstorm warning for Carlyle area lifted

More thunderstorms are in the forecast for the weekend.

CARLYLE - A severe thunderstorm warning for the Carlyle area has been lifted. 

The warning was issued around 4 p.m. and came to an end less than 30 minutes later. 

In addition to Carlyle, the affected areas include Kenosee Lake, the Moose Mountain Provincial Park, White Bear First Nations, Kennedy, Wawota and Manor.

Thunderstorms are also in the forecast for Friday and Saturday in the southeast, and there is more precipitation called for on Sunday and Monday.
