This year's national nursing week will take place May 7-13. In 1971 the International Council of Nurses designated May 12, Florence Nightingale's birthday, as International Nurse's Day.

Huntington Disease (HD) is a hereditary genetic disorder that attacks a person's brain. The Huntington Society of Canada states that approximately 10,000 Canadians have HD, while about 1 in 1,000 are affected.
