The comedy show and supper held in Alida on Jan. 26 by the Alida and District Lions Club was a great success. In all 160 tickets were sold for the event, which was catered by the Alida History Book Committee.

Between Jan. 18 and Jan. 24 the RCMP had 41 files reported. On Jan. 18 there was a collision on Highway 13 near Manor. There were minor damages and no injuries to those involved. No charges have been laid.

Calling all families! It's dance time!

On Friday, Feb. 1, a family dance is going to be held at Carlyle Memorial Hall between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. Prices for the night of entertainment are $15 for adults, $10 for kids, and $30 for a family. Tickets will be available at the door.
