WEYBURN - Everyone is welcome to come and join the Auction for Ukraine on Saturday, July 2, from 2-5 p.m. at the Allie Griffin Gallery located in the Weyburn Public Library.

In these past months, there have been many events and fundraisers in support of Ukraine and its people, from individual acts of kindness, to welcoming displaced Ukrainians, to rallies with over 5,000 people.

“Let us continue reminding Canada and the world about Ukraine, its independence, and the courageous people! Join our auction in support of Ukraine on July 2.”

The committee looks forward to meeting everyone at the Allie Griffin Gallery in the Weyburn Public Library.

Auction Lots can be viewed in the Facebook group, the Charity Auction in Support of Ukraine. Organizers would appreciate any donations for the support of Ukraine. Please provide photos of any donated item, and a brief description on the item.

Donors should bring lots from 1-2 p.m. All funds will go directly to the volunteer organization, “Vitalfood in Ukraine”.

The humanitarian organization World Central Kitchen and Poltava producers of natural products deliver lunches to everyone in need.

From the very beginning of the full-scale war, they have been preparing hot dinners for the army, volunteers and refugees. With the financial support of WCK, it was possible to increase the number of servings and, accordingly, to help even more people who need free food. With joint efforts you can overcome any obstacle.
