A group of runners moving on to the 10-kilometre portion of the Bakken Run go through the Souris Valley grounds before exiting to the Tatagwa Parkway trails south and making a loop there before returning to the starting point at Assiniboia Park School on Saturday morning. There were 53 runners in the second annual Bakken Run, up from 32 participants last year, with all proceeds from the run going to the Weyburn Hospital Foundation; The event raised a total of $3,000.
