Local man, Terry Fowler, was paralyzed from the chest-down in a motor vehicle accident in October of 2009. The funds from this cabaret will allow Fowler to travel to California to attend Project Walk, a facility specifically for those with spinal cord injuries.

Participation in the program will help Fowler learn exercise techniques to decrease muscle spasms in paralyzed limbs, decrease dependency on medication, regain some sensory feeling and, ultimately, the possibility to walk again.
