Award winning Flamenco guitarist Eric Harper will be performing at the Prince of Wales Auditorium on Tuesday, January 31 at 7:30 p.m.
Harper creates his own unique sound, merging different styles. It has been described as an exotic fusion of rock and Flamenco. It is also a reflection hiss diverse upbringing.
Harper was born in Arkansas, raised in Portugal, lived in Spain and now lives in Canada. Harper’s music is melodically entrancing, virtuosically ferocious and harmonically soul-stirring to the core. The guitarist has a velvety smooth voice to accompany his skill on guitar.
Harper has released four CDs that reflect his many styes: “The Best of Eric Harper”, “A Very Timely Christmas” and “Rompera Madrugada and Ribeira”. He has toured around the globe and he has also penned scored for movies and over 80 television shows.
Most notably, Harper co-scored Kevin Spacey’s movie “Inseparable”. Harper is a graduate of Berklee College of Music as well as professional music schools in Portugal.
