Several new projects are in the plans at the Therapeutic Animal Park, including a new storage garage, repairing fencing, installing a large birdhouse, setting pavement from the walking path to the gazebo, and to establish a new parking lot west of the animal park, and build a bridge from that parking lot across the stream leading to the park. Because the Therapeutic Animal Park is not government-funded, they are seeking donations of funds, time and materials from interested residents, organizations or businesses. Donations go to a designated account for the animal park, operated by the Sun Country Health Region, and will be used to finished these projects this year.
