Successful collection nights have given the Weyburn Young Fellows a lot of support, as they organize for their 54th annual TV Auction. The event will be held on Saturday, April 30 at the Weyburn Comp Cafetorium.

Online bidding will start on Saturday, April 9, which will give residents a chance to check out the items and start making their bids early. Then during the actual live auction, the Young Fellows will continue with the successful bidding stages that they had last year.

Items will be sorted and sold in stages depending on their retail value. Less expensive items will be sold earlier in the day, and higher-priced items will be left until the end of the auction.

The live TV auction will run from 12 noon to 8 p.m. at the Cafetorium. At the same time, it will be aired live on Access, with the actual channel still to be determined, and it will also be streamed live online.

Links for everything that will go online will be available from the Young Fellows website at www.youngfellowsclub.ca.

The proceeds of the sales at this annual fundraiser will be reinvested back into the community by the Young Fellows Club. Businesses who would like to donate an item, and have not been previously contacted are encouraged to contact Justin Arendt, the TV auction chairman.
