The Allie Griffin Art Gallery will host an art exhibit by women who are formerly of Weyburn or who had a strong association with the city in their youth, and it will run from June 1 to 25, inclusive.The artists include Jan Keating of Weyburn; Tara Keating of Weyburn; Janis Eaglesham of Maple Ridge, B.C.; Jane Johnston (nee Bowden), Maple Ridge, B.C.; Gina Rubin, Maple Ridge, B.C.; Beatrice Bell (nee Goranson), Windsor, Ont.; Doris Wilson (nee Goranson), Rathwell, Man.; Diane York (nee Goranson), Saskatoon; Jean Chose (nee McAnsh), Vancouver, B.C., and posthumously, Jean McAnsh.The idea for the show came from local artist Jan Keating, as she became aware of other former friends and classmates who were involved as artists, and she began contacting them.
