ASSINIBOIA - E. Bourassa and Sons have lent a helping hand to the Golden South Childcare Centre in Assiniboia.
Over the past summer months, Bourassa staff, with the help of the Daycare staff have hosted three barbecues with all the funds raised being donated to the Golden South Childcare Centre.
These barbecues have raised a total of $4,415 to go to the cause. Each of the three Bourassa locations participated in this process. Weyburn supported the Souris Valley Daycare,
Radville supported both Radville Tourism and the Radville Community Daycare.
Carlyle supported the Caryle Family and Youth Centre and Assiniboia supported the Golden South Childcare. Collectively between the four locations they raised a whopping $10,893, serving hamburgers and hot dogs.
The Golden South Childcare is a new facility in the process of raising funds to finish the new daycare in Assiniboia. After getting their building secured, they now are doing the finishing touches to opening the new much needed facility. Any donations from the community are very gratefully accepted by the Golden South Childcare Centre.
