Grand opening held for UFA Petroleum in Weyburn

“UFA is here to support farmers, ranchers and our local communities,” said Scott Bolton, UFA President and CEO

WEYBURN - A grand opening for the Weyburn UFA location, including a ribbon cutting and community lunch, was held on July 6.

The iconic UFA orange petroleum locations that are starting to mark southern Saskatchewan’s main agribusiness and industrial thoroughfares bring another choice for people filling their tanks. The Weyburn UFA Petroleum Agency and Cardlock is one of two new locations to open in the province in 2023.

“UFA is here to support farmers, ranchers and our local communities,” said Scott Bolton, UFA President and CEO. “Our Saskatchewan investment means a boost to the economy by creating new jobs and opportunities. We are so pleased to be a part of the Weyburn community.”

Scott Bolton and Don Smith, UFA Vice President, Petroleum and Innovation were joined by Kevin Hoppins, UFA Board Chair along with Coun. Mel Van Betuw, City of Weyburn; Norm McFadden, Reeve, Rural Municipality of Weyburn; and Dr. Robert Kitchen, MP Souris-Moose Mountain.
