Smiles Per Mile Lottery to make grand prize draw

The Richardson Pioneer Southern Rebels is once again anticipating success in their 33rd annual Smiles Per Mile Lottery.

ASSINIBOIA - The Richardson Pioneer Southern Rebels is once again anticipating success in their 33rd annual Smiles Per Mile Lottery. In past years, the Smiles Per Mile Lottery has raised in excess of $600,000 to help in the operation of the Junior B Hockey team.

The proceeds of this lottery help to support the operating costs of the team including such expenses as ice and officiating fees, league fees, transportation and accommodation for away games, equipment, advertising and promotion.

This year’s grand prize draw is on Saturday, Nov. 13, during the Southern Rebels home game at 7:30 p.m. The prize includes a choice of: $25,000 or 2022 Chevrolet Trax supplied by Nelson GM or 2022 Arctic Cat Alterra 600 SE ATV Combo supplied by E. Bourassa & Sons.

Four subsidiary prizes include $1,000, $500, and two $250 prizes.

The $1,000 Early Bird Draw was won by Gilles Boneau.

The 50/50 Draw is back for another year. Tickets are one for $10, three for $25 or 10 for $50. At the time of this article the total was $21,380.
