The body of a Weyburn senior who had been reported missing on June 13 was found the evening of June 14.
Donald McCowan, 80, a resident of Windsor Street, had been reported missing to the Weyburn city police early the morning of June 13, and police and fire mounted a search of the area where he liked to go for walks.
The public was asked for volunteers, and a number of people came out the morning of June 14 to help the police and fire department do a grid search of the Souris Valley grounds, including a boat which scoured the pond located by Tatagwa View.
Members of Weyburn Search and Rescue found the body early the evening of June 14. Police determined the death was not suspicious, but indicated they would continue their investigation.
