Pink Day was held on Thursday, May 1st. The purpose of "Pink Day" is to raise an awareness of bullying and the effects it may have on our students. Our focus of the Day was to give our students the ability and confidence to stand up to and speak out against bullying, whether it is happening to them, or they are a bystander seeing it happen to someone else. We also want parents, students and staff to understand the importance of all of us working together in the fight against bullying, not only in schools but also in our community. All students received a new pink t-shirt to show their awareness and commitment to the fight against bullying. Some of our Gr. 5 & 6 Badminton players had the opportunity to participate in the Pre-District Rookie Tournament on April 29th. Great job to all of our athletes!

There are 2 more Wednesdays for Girls' Circle. They will be May 7 and May 14 at 3:30.

If you or someone you know in the Carlyle area has a child who is turning 5 in 2014, please pick up a registration form and have your child added to the Kindergarten class list for the 2014-2015 school year. Pre K applications can also be picked up from the office for children who will be 3 or 4 this year.
