Food challenge started

Don Shumlich, CEO of the Weyburn Credit Union, and Weyburn Mayor Debra Button cut a ceremonial cake, after announcing a friendly competition to collect food for the Canadian Pacific (CP) Holiday Train. Residents are encouraged to drop off food or cash donations for the Holiday Train at either the Credit Union or City Hall. The Holiday Train arrives on Saturday, Dec. 17 and all food collected in Weyburn will be donated back to the Salvation Army food bank.
