Girls helping out flood victims

Grade 4 teacher Colleen Sproat sits with two of her students, Jenna Chessall and Sheridan Hemphill, at the bake sale they put together to help raise money to give to the Red Cross, to help those afflicted by the flood in Weyburn. Sheridan initially came up with the idea, shared it with Jenna, and the girls brought it to their class who enthusiastically took on the fundraiser. The bake sale was held with the "Pack-a-Parent" lunch on Thursday, and was continued during the playday held in the afternoon. The girls presented the proceeds to George Barker of the Red Cross at the school assembly on Monday morning.Review photo 4550 – Greg Nikkel
