The Manor elementary school students, from kindergarten to grade 6, all worked together to perform a fun Christmas show for their family, friends, and community members.

The three elementary school teachers, Rhiannon Miller, April Hutton, and Monty McNaughton organized the Christmas concert. The event was held Dec. 20 at 7 p.m. at the manor school, and many people showed up to watch the kids present, "the Littlest Christmas Tree."

The play was set in the Christmas tree lot at the North Pole, and all the trees and elves were busy preparing for Santa Claus, played by Cody Wasilinchuk, and Mrs. Claus, played by Presley Onufreychuk, to come pick out their Christmas tree.

This was a big event for all the trees, and every tree wished to be chosen. When the Littlest Christmas Tree, played by Colby Cuddington, expressed his desire to be the tree Santa would pick, all the large Christmas trees, played by grades four, five, and six, mocked him, and broke out into a song about how he was just too small to be the perfect tree.

However, when Santa came to pick out a tree he felt that all the trees didn't know what Christmas was truly about, and all they were concerned about were themselves. Then the Littlest Christmas Tree sang a song about how Christmas is love, and Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus realized they had found their perfect tree.

They decorated the Littlest Christmas Tree, and as usual, everyone was happy in the end.

The entertaining play brought laughter to the crowd, and everyone in the play performed very well, making it another successful Christmas show for the Manor school.
