The residential subdivision for 108 Moose Street has been approved by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs.

The Town of Arcola has been informed that the Ministry of Municipal Affairs has increased the amount of our Revenue Sharing grant for 2011.

The Town of Arcola's request for an 80 Km/hr speed limit west of Lee's Sales and Service and east of the Salt Water Disposal on Highway #13, was submitted in December 2010. The Southeast Transportation Planning Committee has responded to our letter in which the MHI has found that the 100 km/hr is appropriate. However the near misses have been reported. Therefore they the SE Transportation Planning Committee has requested there be enhanced speed enforcement on Highway #13.

The Town of Arcola passed a bylaw 2011-1. The bylaw 2011-1 is for Long Term Borrowing. The Long Term Borrowing deals with the purpose of financing the municipal share and unprepaid property owners' for the 2010 local improvements (paving - hot mix).

Offer to Purchase approvals for:

102 & 104 Main Street for a development of a hair salon and living quarters;
