Police ask for help locating mischief suspects

Report from the Weyburn Police Service for the week of March 21 to 27:

*On March 27, police received a call from residents on Ash Drive after their vehicle had been egged. Further patrol of the area resulted in the discovery of several other vehicles being egged and one house door. There was also a window broken on a vehicle in the same area. If anyone has any information regarding these incidents they are asked to contact police.

*During a regular police patrol, Weyburn Police Service members encountered two males outside of a local bar in an altercation. Both males were charged for fighting under the local bylaw.

*Between the evening of March 26 and the early hours of March 27, a person reported that her vehicle had been struck and damaged on Park Avenue. Investigation led police to charge a male with failing to report an accident. Further investigation resulted in a second male being charged with possession of marijuana.

*On March 24, two young offenders were charged with possession of marijuana as a result of a traffic stop. One young offender was also charged with a driver's license violation.

*Police attended the Weyburn General Hospital as there were two windows broken on the garage behind the hospital. The matter is under investigation and if anyone has any information they are asked to contact police.

*On March 21, police were called to a local bar due to a male patron causing a disturbance. The male was gone upon police arrival.

*Police assisted RCMP with a vehicle rollover on Highway 35. There were no injuries reported.

*The Weyburn Police Service received 94 calls for service during this reporting period.
