Rodney Sidloski, president and founder of HELP International, demonstrates how tall he expects the trees below his hand to be within a year. Sidloski and his team at HELP have pioneered new methods for growing trees in large quantities, with durable root systems, very rapidly in their quest to invent the $1 tree. With all their research, HELP has put forth a proposal to take over operation of the Prairie Farm Rehabilitation Administration when it closes next year. Sidloski said they are one of the only organizations that could meet the demands, in a timely manner, and not drastically increase the cost per tree and that they already have the groundwork laid to be able to take over operations. An announcement is expected at the end of the year as to the future of the PFRA lands, but there are many interested parties.
