Regina police looking for missing 36-year-old woman

Regina police say Jaylee Wapamoose's disappearance is "causing concern" for loved ones.

REGINA — Regina Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a woman who has been missing since last week, according to reports from family.

Jaylee Springflower Wapamoose, 36, has reportedly not been seen or heard from since Jan. 6 at approximately 6 p.m.,  at the home of a friend on the 1300 block of Montague Street. 

She was reported missing to the Regina Police Service on Jan. 9, and efforts to locate her have so far been unsuccessful.

A statement from RPS said that “her absence is causing concern among her family and friends.”

Wapamoose is described as Indigenous, approximately 5’5” and 120 pounds with a thin build. She has medium-length brown hair, brown eyes and two visible tattoos — the word “sober” on her left forearm and a hummingbird behind her left ear.

Police are asking anyone who has seen Wapamoose or has information related to her whereabouts to contact the RPS at 1-306-777-6500 or Regina Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
