Report from the Weyburn Police Service for the week of December 13 to 19: *On December 19, police attended to a disturbance at a local hotel. Investigation found that a common law couple had a dispute and a physical confrontation ensued.

Report from the Weyburn Police Service for the week of December 13 to 19:

*On December 19, police attended to a disturbance at a local hotel. Investigation found that a common law couple had a dispute and a physical confrontation ensued. One of the individuals was removed from the hotel and no charges were laid.

*A 20-year-old male from Alberta will be making a court appearance in Weyburn in early January following a traffic stop during the early morning hours of December 18.Due to the driving actions of the accused, police had the accused provide breath samples to which readings over .08 were obtained.The accused was charged with driving while over .08 and impaired driving.

*Police received a call of a male causing a disturbance outside of an establishment at 2:40 a.m. on December 18.Police located a 22-year-old male from Weyburn who was under the influence of alcohol and wanting to fight with other persons. The male was arrested for being drunk in public and causing a disturbance. He was then placed in cells until sober.

*On December 17, police were called to a residence on South Hill.Two young females claimed that while they were out walking a male had chased them. No person was found to match the description given to police and the matter is being investigated.

*A store in the 100 block of First Street called police on the morning of December 16 in regards to a shoplifter. Police found a 13-year-old female whom was caught taking items from the store.

*On December 13, police were called in to investigate a missing deposit bag from a local business. Police are continuing their investigation into this matter.

*Police were called to a disturbance in the area of Railway Avenue and Third Street.Police found a Weyburn male damaging a vehicle in the parking lot of a local business. The male was arrested and charged with tampering with a motor vehicle.

*Police received 78 calls for assistance during this reporting period.
