TC Douglas Centre piano refurbished

Kjel Sidloski plays the newly refurbished piano at the Tommy Douglas Centre. The 1904 Steinway and Sons piano was refurbished over the past week when the action and the keys were removed and taken to a Steinway specialist who repaired, reweighted and reinstalled them. The piano was donated by the Douglas family and has been used for many concerts and piano lessons and practices over the years. Pianists can still rent a one hour time slot with the instrument by contacting Wendy Sidloski, secretary and rental and bookings manager of the centre.
