911 calls

A 911 call to Wawota requested assistance for an individual outside the hotel in town.

Abandoned child

An abandoned child was reported in Arcola and is currently under investigation to determine what happened to lead to the call.

Animal call

A cow was found wandering near Manor along the highway. A farmer found it and took it into their pasture for safe keeping until the owner was contacted.

Assistance

Carlyle RCMP served a summons to an individual in the Carlyle area.

A vehicle in Moose Mountain Provincial Park became stuck and the driver called the RCMP who provided them with a phone number to a tow truck.

Icy roads along Hwy 13 near Arcola were reported and RCMP passed the information along to the Department of Highways.

There was a request to monitor an individual in the Carlyle area whom was recently released from jail.

A possible disturbance was recorded near Arcola. RCMP looked into the call but found no problems.

A request to locate an individual in the Carlyle area came in and RCMP were later called off as the person had returned.

Breach of conditions

There was a report in Redvers of someone possibly breaching their release conditions. RCMP are currently investigating the call.

A 27-year-old male was charged with consuming alcohol in a public place and for failing to comply with release conditions.

A possible breach of probation in the Carlyle area was reported.

False alarms

A false alarm at a business in Kenosee sounded when the code was not entered properly as a new system had been installed.

A fire alarm in Redvers sounded when a worker at a business broke a head off of a sprinkler.

There was a false alarm at a business in Carlyle due to a faulty sensor.

There was a false alarm at a business in Arcola. The alarm company called RCMP to let members know there have been issues with the system at that particular business.

Firearm calls

A traffic stop near Carlyle resulted in RCMP locating an insecure firearm. The firearm was taken for safekeeping, but returned shortly after as it is hunting season and was an oversight.

A youth was reported near Manor with a firearm.

Alcohol related calls

A possible impaired driver near Carlyle was reported, but the caller didn't want to answer any questions and hung up.

Another possibly impaired driver was reported near Arcola but not located.

An intoxicated individual was reported at a business in Carlyle. The individual left prior to police arrival and was not located.

Near Wawota a possible impaired driver was reported, but no licence was obtained for RCMP to follow up on.

Traffic infractions

Five individuals received speeding tickets: a 21-year-old male was fined $138; a 43-year-old male was ticketed $210; a 25-year-old male was fined $188; a 24-year-old female was ticketed $196; a 23-year-old female was fined $204.

A traffic complaint in Carlyle near the elementary school was reported and an individual was spoken with regarding parking in accordance with signs.

In Carlyle a report of an improperly parked vehicle was reported, but was gone upon arrival.

Theft of a vehicle near Arcola was reported. It was located and discovered an employee had taken a work vehicle when they weren't supposed to.

There was a single traffic rollover north of Kisbey due to slippery roads. The driver had minor injuries and Carlyle EMS attended.

A reported collision near Carlyle was looked into, but no vehicle was found. The automated call may have been a possible glitch.

Near Antler a driver hit the ditch due to slippery road conditions.

There was a hit and run in Wawota though the RCMP have no suspects at this time.

A single vehicle hit the ditch in the Carlyle area and the vehicle was later towed to Estevan.

Other calls

In Carlyle harassing phone calls were reported and are now under investigation.

A complaint of a barking dog and a parking complaint in Manor were called in, but resolved without

RCMP assistance.

Reports of disturbances were called in from the Carlyle area and a second in Manor.

In Carlyle a 25-year-old male failed to attend court and has been charged.

A break and enter occurred at a residence in the Carlyle area, the matter remains under investigation.
